FUCK YEAH ATONEMENT
This is a blog dedicated to the film Atonement based on the book with the same name written by Ian McEwan.

"An upper-middle-class girl in interwar England -- who aspires to be a writer -- makes a serious mistake that has life-changing effects for many. Consequently, through the remaining years of the century, she seeks atonement for her transgression - which leads to an exploration on the nature of writing itself." (from Wikipedia)

The film has been nominated for 7 Academy Awards, wining Best Original Score in the 80th Academy Awards. It was directed by Joe Wright and the screenplay was written by Christopher Hampton. It stars James McAvoy, Keira Knightley and Saoirse Ronan, who was nominated for the Best Supporting Actress award at the Oscars.

Day 7 : Name a film that you would recommend everyone see.
Atonement ( 2007) with James mcAvoy, Keira Knightley
myatonement:

“She raised one hand and flexed its fingers and wondered, as she had sometimes before, how this thing, this machine for gripping, this fleshy spider on the end of her arm, came to be hers, entirely at her command. Or did it have some little life of its own? She bent her finger and straightened it. The mystery was in the instant before it moved, the dividing moment between not moving and moving, when her intention took effect. It was like a wave breaking. If she could only find herself at the crest, she thought, she might find the secret of herself, that part of her that was really in charge.”-ATONEMENT by Ian McEwan
